Rinse, Don’t Just Drain

ImageMany people assume that the liquid in canned fruits and vegetables are the natural juices–wrong! They are added water or corn syrup packed with health problem causing sodium and  other preservatives. Take kidney beans for example; that thick liquid–corn syrup! Just think how many calories it would add to your chili if you did not drain and rinse it. Remember, healthy habits help keep you financially healthy by reducing doctor visits, sick days, medications, and improved quality of life—which is priceless!
